Fashion designer Christian Siriano, the winner of TV’s Project Runway Season 4, is known for his avant garde styles. When time came to showcase his spring 2013 collection, the model’s look was completed by lead hairstylist for Aveda Antoinette Beenders. She styled a “loose, slightly messy and wet ballerina bun,” reports American Salon Magazine.
“To create this look, Lead Hairstylist Antoinette Beenders for Aveda used Pure Abundance Style Prep to give hair touchable texture than used Air Control Hairspray to set the hair. After having the model’s flip their hair upside down, she gathered the hair, twisted it into a bun shape and secured with an elastic and pins, finishing again with more Air Control to ensure the look held.”
